798 Page Views in 1st Week
In the first week since it's launch, the new Horsham YMCA FC 'The Word' pages pave been viewed 798 times, this is a great start and is hopefully indicative of interest in the club for the coming season.
As we would expect we see most of the interest coming from the UK, but we also had over a 100 visits from the USA and even some form Germany & Switzerland....
Anyone interested in contributing material to the site should contact webmaster@horshamymcafc.com

www.horshamymcafc.com 10 years old this week!
How time flies, the club website is now 10 years old. It has come a long way in that time and the exciting thing is with the new managment team in place we have some impetus to take it to a new level with the addition of the new 'Blog' pages.
Things to look out for soon - A Club Calander, to allow us to highlight events that are happening at Gorings Mead in the coming months and Photo pages - once the season has started - allowing fans, players & staff to submit pictures from the matches.
If anyone has any other ideas for contributions please feel free to add comments.
Here's to another 10 years!

Training Night - Thursday 28th June
All players to bring trainers and boots to Horsham
Park , 7pm meet for a prompt
7.15pm start.
Dan Sullivan - from London to Paris
TWO local footballers swapped their boots for bikes and cycling from London to Paris for charity.Friends Ed Thompson and Dan Sullivan set off on Wednesday 20th June from Trafalgar Square and hoped to reach the French capital on Saturday 23rd.
Ed used to play for Three Bridges and currently plays for Crawley Down, while Dan used to play for Crawley Down and currently plays for Horsham YMCA.
The pair will cycle a gruelling 100 miles per day, in aid of Challenge Worldwide which helps children and their families in Africa.
BT employee Ed, from Milborne Road in Maidenbower, will be part of a team of volunteers from his company who will head to Africa in November.
He will travel to the Kibera slums in Kenya and help refurbish a school there. Then he will visit Lake Natron in Tanzania to build a classroom and a system for collecting rainwater and making it safe to drink.
Each volunteer is aiming to raise at least £3,500 to pay for the materials to complete the projects and the sponsored cycle ride is one of the challenges Ed hopes to complete to raise his share.
Dan, 30, from Meadow View, Smallfield, was Ed's best man at his wedding and has stepped in to accompany him on the bike ride.
Ed, 33, said: "Cycling to Paris is something I've always wanted to do. So I get to fulfil a dream and raise money for a good cause."
He added: "I cycle when I commute to work in Dorking but I don't work there every day.
"I usually try to cycle about 30 to 40 miles a week but I've upped that to 70 or 80 miles."

Visitors to Website increases as new season approaches.
Maybe it's new players finding out the club, or the opposition checking up what we're doing but our visitor numbers are up over the last two weeks.
Below we can see the increase in visitors per day since Monday 18th June, maybe that's because Training started this week!
Whilst on the subject we can also see that the number of pages they are viewing has also increased, suggesting that they are staying on th esite for a while, finding out about us!
