Snowed off!

The weather continues to play havoc with YM's fixture list.

If all the rain so far this year has not been bad enough, the last week has seen Gorings Mead covered in snow, making matches unplayable.

Forecasts seem better for next week but the risk is that the rain will return. Bob Brading, match Secretary, is working overtime to try and figure out how to re-arrange all our missed fixtures.

Horsham football legend Mick overwhelmed by support

Horsham YMCA chairman Mick Browning says he has been totally overwhelmed by the amount of support he received during his five month battle with Leukemia.
Now in remission having been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) - a rare cancer of the blood - in June, Mick says he is getting stronger every day and looking towards the future positively.
“I couldn’t believe how many people got in touch with goodwill messages, it was quite amazing,” said Mick, Horsham FC’s all-time record goalscorer.

West Sussex County Times Report - 07/01/13

Horsham YMCA returned to Division 1 action for the first time in a month with a 4-1 home defeat to East Grinstead on Saturday, a performance concluded with the sending off of forward Elliott Romain three minutes from time.
